StatementThe business world for creditors has become a treacherous place. Bankruptcy filings are at an all time high. Uninformed creditors today who don't act quickly will get little or nothing. Arm yourself!! Get the information from the customer before the goods and services go out the door when your customer still needs something from you. Monitor your customers' account closely and act immediately when they breach the credit terms. Use an attorney to obtain payments or concessions from your customers at the early stages of collection. Obtain leverage with the client through promissory notes, guaranties and other collection devices. File suit promptly if customers fail to keep their promises. Creditors that file lawsuits typically are paid a greater percentage of their claims than "good guy" creditors who sit back and keep giving customers credit and payment extensions. Remember, creditors that are loved by their clients receive no more than the other creditors in a bankruptcy proceeding. The direct intervention by Mark Krones results in greater recovery of outstanding accounts receivables and bad debt. In many circumstances, the fear of prompt and substantial legal action results in recovery of outstanding obligations without suit becoming necessary. We recognize that knowing when and how to settle a case is a valuable skill. If you have any questions, please contact Mark for a FREE consultation at mkrones@i-collections.com.
